Job summary

Hul Hub in Karachi is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze business problems, gather and document requirements, and serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

You will prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows, while examining As-Is processes and recommending To-Be workflows. Collaboration with stakeholders and basic data analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business Administration, MIS, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, process analysis, software projects, internships, or academic projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Basic knowledge of Agile, SDLC, business process mapping, and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with UAT, testing concepts, basic data analysis, APIs, and system integrations.
• Ability to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and validate proposed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems, root causes, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
• Gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
• Analyze existing (As-Is) processes and recommend improved (To-Be) workflows.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and coordinate between business and technical teams.
• Support Agile activities, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement tracking.
• Evaluate system integrations and process impacts at a basic level.
• Support UAT and verify that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
