Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking Bulgarian interpreters and translators for on-site roles in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Primary work includes interpreting in health care, legal, education, immigration and refugee services, with opportunities across public and private sectors.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Bulgarian, hold a relevant degree, and possess an IELTS certificate (6.5 overall, 6.0 per subtest). Positions require signing a surety bond and NDA.

We are currently recruiting for Bulgarian interpreters and Translators based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

The Job:

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source’ language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target’ language with 100% accuracy.

You will:

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
