Job summary

ACCA Careers in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a diligent bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate record-keeping. You will file and sort invoices, bank statements, cash documents, and other correspondence, and you will book payables, receivables, payroll, and related payments.

The role requires verifying data quality and supporting monthly or quarterly closings with VAT centralisation where needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and correct handling of all matters concerning the day to day bookkeeping.
• Sorting and filing documents into: third party invoices, company’s sale invoices, bank statements, cash documents and other correspondence.
• Booking of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll and payments
• Verifying the completeness and consistency of accounting information received.
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly basic closing transactions and reconciliation (e.g. VAT centralisation…).
• Working in compliance with all company procedures and follow the mandatory trainings.
• Any other task assigned by the Senior Accountant.
