Job summary

Logistics Cluster seeks a Programme Policy Officer to lead the BNP PMU in Islamabad, overseeing a team of about 10. The role integrates BNP 3.0 components, coordinates with BNP DG, WFP, UNICEF and WHO, and drives data-driven programming in nutrition and social protection.

The incumbent will guide policy development, ensure effective implementation, manage partnerships, and strengthen risk management and reporting for BNP activities in Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of postgraduate professional-level work experience in project management.
• Experience in nutrition or health-related social protection programming preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate with government, UN agencies and partners.

Responsibilities

• Formulate BNP programme policies aligned with strategy and field realities.
• Provide technical advice on objectives, activities and transfer modalities.
• Strengthen government and community ownership of social protection and nutrition programmes.
• Establish partnerships to improve assistance packages and advocacy.
• Coordinate research and evidence building for BNP programming.
