Job summary

ACT International is seeking a Senior NDF Officer to coordinate BNP 3.0 activities across a district cluster in Punjab, Pakistan, in partnership with UNICEF and BNP/BNP stakeholders. The role involves supervising NDF officers, ensuring quality nutrition, SBC and ECD activities, and coordinating referrals and reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant fields, 5+ years of field experience, and willingness to travel frequently within the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in nutrition, health, SBC, community mobilisation or development programmes.
• Demonstrated experience supervising field teams, community workers or frontline personnel.
• Experience working with community-based structures, government departments and frontline health workers.
• Strong district-level coordination, field planning and team-supervision skills.
• Ability and willingness to undertake frequent field travel within the assigned district/cluster.

Responsibilities

• Develop district/cluster workplans, activity schedules and field coverage plans in coordination with the Regional SBC Coordinator.
• Maintain updated deployment lists, duty rosters, catchment allocations and outreach schedules.
• Ensure deployment according to staffing, workload and programme priorities.
• Monitor progress against targets and identify gaps in outreach and referrals.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching and technical guidance to field staff.
• Review activity registers, counselling records and referral documentation.
• Conduct regular field observations to assess counselling quality and outreach practices.
• Coordinate refresher training and mentoring with the Regional SBC Coordinator.
• Follow up on performance, data-quality and corrective actions.
