Job summary

The role covers estimation support, ITB coordination, maintaining the ITB tracker, labeling drawings and requesting missing documents from general contractors. A BS Civil Engineering is required and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering degree required or strongly preferred.
• Basic ability to read construction drawings; training can be provided.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and cloud storage; strong documentation skills.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic quantity identification (fence lengths, gate counts, scope breakdowns).
• Highlight relevant plan sheets, details, and material sections.
• Prepare pre-estimation input sheets and checklists.
• Assist in drafting RFQs for vendor pricing when needed.
• Review incoming ITBs and identify fencing scope.
• Update and maintain the ITB Tracker (status, deadlines, notes).
• Download, label, and organize drawings, specs, and addenda.
• Request missing documents or clarifications from general contractors.
• Ensure the estimator always has the latest documents.
