Job summary

A leading construction services provider is seeking a Full-Time Estimation & ITB Qualification Assistant in Islamabad. The role involves supporting estimators by preparing takeoffs, organizing bid documents, and coordinating ITB qualifications. Candidates should hold a BS in Civil Engineering and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential. This is an onsite position with a working time of 2 PM to 11 PM PST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic quantity identification for estimation tasks.
• Review incoming ITBs and organize bid documents.
• Update and maintain the ITB Tracker effectively.
• Download, label, and organize drawings, specs, and addenda.
• Request missing documents from general contractors.
• Ensure estimator has the latest documents.

Title: Estimation & ITB Qualification Assistant

Location: Plaza ONE, Next to PSO pump, Main GT road near DHA Phase 2 Gate 1, Islamabad
Timings: 2 PM -11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)

Overview

The Estimation & ITB Qualification Assistant supports the estimator by preparing basic takeoffs, organizing bid documents and ensuring all ITBs are reviewed and qualified on time.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation Support

• Perform basic quantity identification (fence lengths, gate counts, scope breakdowns).
• Highlight relevant plan sheets, details, and material sections.
• Prepare pre-estimation input sheets and checklists.
• Assist in drafting RFQs for vendor pricing when needed.

ITB Qualification & Coordination

• Review incoming ITBs and identify fencing scope.
• Update and maintain the ITB Tracker (status, deadlines, notes).
• Download, label, and organize drawings, specs, and addenda.
• Request missing documents or clarifications from general contractors.
• Ensure the estimator always has the latest documents.

Requirements

• BS Civil Engineering (required or strongly preferred).
• Basic ability to read construction drawings (training can be provided).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and cloud storage.
