Job summary

vasl-talent is seeking a Construction Estimator for onsite duties at Plaza ONE, Islamabad. The role supports the estimation team by analyzing drawings, specifications and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, bid proposals, and coordinating with suppliers. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in estimation are required, with strong Excel/Workspace skills and English fluency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a construction estimator.
Strong understanding of construction materials and methods, preferably related to fencing projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Assist in quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment based on drawings and BOQs.
Support in preparing bid proposals, budgets, and tender documents.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations.
Maintain and update cost databases, pricing lists, and historical cost records.
Assist in analyzing completed projects to compare estimated vs. actual costs.
Participate in site visits or project meetings as required to understand scope and conditions.
Ensure compliance with company estimating standards and procedures.
