Job summary

Cedar Financial is seeking a SaaS Content Writer to translate complex fintech and B2B concepts into clear, compelling content across the funnel. You will collaborate with product, sales, and SEO teams to drive pipeline and product adoption.

The role requires 3+ years of B2B SaaS writing, a strong portfolio, and excellent English communication. Experience with WordPress, SEO tools, and CMS is preferred; remote-friendly with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of content writing experience for B2B SaaS, fintech, or technology companies.
• Strong portfolio of published SaaS or B2B content including blog posts, product pages, and case studies.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a concise style.
• Ability to explain complex software products to technical and business audiences.
• Working knowledge of SEO copywriting and tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Surfer SEO/Clearscope).
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot) and collaboration tools (Google Docs, Notion, Asana, ClickUp).
• Strong organization and time-management skills to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality top-, middle-, and bottom-of-funnel content (blogs, guides, pages, case studies).
• Create product pages, release notes, onboarding content, and help-center material.
• Draft UX and product microcopy (CTAs, labels, tooltips, error messages).
• Turn customer briefs into compelling case studies highlighting challenges, solutions, outcomes.
• Develop whitepapers, eBooks, one-pagers, and battlecards for sales support.
• Write nurture emails, newsletters, product launch emails, and in-app messages.
• Apply SEO best practices: keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance to translate technical input into clear copy.
• Maintain brand voice and messaging across channels.
• Repurpose long-form content into social posts, LinkedIn articles, scripts, and webinar outlines.
• Research SaaS/fintech markets, cite credible sources, and support with accurate info.
• Track content performance and refine content based on results.
• Use AI tools responsibly to increase speed while ensuring originality and human editing.
