Job summary

Alibaba Group in Pakistan’s Punjab region is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to drive sales growth, identify opportunities, and close deals with B2B customers. You will build strong client relationships, collaborate with operations, product, and finance, and own the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and five years of courier/logistics sales experience, with excellent communication and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 5 years of courier and logistics experience with a B2B sales focus.
• Proven record of building and executing BD strategies and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong data analysis to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Customer-focused with commitment to exceptional service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; tech-minded and adaptable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments, including operations, product and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
• Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.
• Take end-to-end ownership of client onboarding process.
