Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking an AWS Cloud System Administrator to manage AWS infrastructure, optimize cloud costs, and ensure high availability. The role involves provisioning EC2 instances, automating with CloudFormation, and monitoring with CloudWatch.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus network device management and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Electronics/Telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP on Windows-based tech.
• Ability to configure VMs and Web Applications.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud servers.
• Familiar with automation using AWS CloudFormation, CloudWatch metrics.
• Experience configuring and monitoring firewalls, routers, switches.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate AWS infrastructure and optimize costs.
• Create and manage EC2 instances with minimal downtime.
• Monitor availability and performance; respond to traffic fluctuations.
• Lead cloud operations, automation and provisioning processes.
• Implement disaster recovery and backups for data integrity.
• Oversee cost optimization strategies and billing management.
