Job summary

Mashreq NEO CORP seeks an Assistant Vice President - Big Data & Data Lake to lead enterprise data platform initiatives. You will oversee Hadoop, DWH, ETL, Reporting and Analytics landscapes and drive scalable data architectures for regulatory and management reporting.

The role requires 13+ years in data warehousing and data lake environments, with hands-on expertise in Spark, Python, Kafka, Hive, HDFS, and cloud services. Strong SQL/PLSQL and data governance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of total experience in data area DWH and data lake (Hadoop).
• At least 5+ years of expertise in big data development, design and architecture (Spark, Python, Kafka, Sqoop, Ambari, Hive, HBase, HDFS).
• Experience in cloud services (Azure/AWS) for data.
• Strong DB knowledge in Oracle/SQL Server.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL writing skills.
• Sound data management fundamentals and governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery and support of platforms spanning Hadoop, DWH, ETL, Reporting and Analytics landscapes.
