Job Title

Assistant Vice President - Big Data & Data Lake

Job Purpose

The Enterprise Data Platform stream delivers outcomes to help different parts of the bank gain meaningful insights from their Data Assets. Our core function spans multiple Data Warehouses, Hadoop, Business Intelligence and Analytics Cluster within Information Management. The work involves providing delivery and support of platforms spanning over Hadoop, DWH, ETL, Reporting & Analytics application landscape. You will be handling critical applications that influence bank’s management decision making process, regulatory reporting (which can influence financial/non‑financial penalties) and operational reporting.

Core Skills

• 13+ Years of Total Experience in data area DWH and Data lake(Hadoop)
• At least 5+ Years of Expertise & Knowledge in Big Data Development, Design & Architecture Spark, Python, Kafka, Sqoop, Ambari, Hive, HBase, HDFS
• Experience in cloud services(Azure/AWS) for data.
• Strong DB knowledge in Oracle/SQL Server
• Strong in writing SQL, PL/SQL
• Sound in Data Management Fundamentals
• Knowledge in Informatica BDM and CDC
• Knowledge in Banking will be a plus
• Should have managed successful execution of minimum 3 large engagements into production go live.
• Sound in Data Management Fundamentals and Data Architect, Modelling, Governance and Data security.
• Experience in DWH to Data Lake offloading.
• Experience in designing frameworks using No Code/Low code technologies.
• Proficient in Data Modeling and Data Governance concepts
