Job summary

RemoteVA PH is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer to prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems. You will coordinate with HVAC and structural teams to integrate systems seamlessly into project designs, with 3D scanning experience as a plus, and proficiency in AutoSPRINK and ReCap.

The role emphasizes compliance with codes, documentation, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams, with a full-time schedule and EST hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, fabrication, or coordination.
• Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC, structural, and other trade teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure project alignment.
• Utilize AutoSPRINK software to design and detail fire sprinkler layouts.
• Apply Autodesk ReCap for 3D scanning and integration when applicable.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.
• Maintain documentation and records of design changes, coordination meetings, and fabrication schedules.
