Job summary

RemoteVA PH seeks a Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer to prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems. You will coordinate with HVAC, structural, and other trades to ensure seamless integration, using AutoSPRINK and ReCap for design and 3D scanning where applicable.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, fabrication, or coordination.
• Experience with 3D scanning technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC, structural, and other trade teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure project alignment.
• Utilize AutoSPRINK software to design and detail fire sprinkler layouts.
• Apply Autodesk ReCap for 3D scanning and integration when applicable.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation phases.
• Maintain documentation and records of design changes, coordination meetings, and fabrication schedules.
