Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate for TMT Client Operations in Islamabad. You will support diverse clients across the US and worldwide during night shifts, handling research, training, and product feedback to enhance our market intelligence tools.

Work with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, automate workflows, and develop subject matter expertise in the TMT sector. Growth opportunities abound within a meritocratic environment.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for providing critical research and value-add knowledge to our diverse client base at various companies primarily in US, and across the globe, through e-mails, chat & phone calls.
• Channel client ideas and feedback to our content and product management teams to help improve the quality and accuracy of our database and products.
• Work with senior team members on projects and develop subject matter expertise in different sectors of the TMT industry.
• Effective Workflow Management including: Logging and tracking information in the appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner.
• Advanced cases are passed to other departments following procedures.
• Chip into operational efficiency by applying the Lean principles to the day-to-day job.
• Use Diagnostic Techniques to go beyond client wants and delve into the why.
• Record and deliver persona/workflow-based client training with adequate support and oversight.
• Participates in user acceptance testing efforts within areas of focus to ensure that products meet the highest standard for client experience.
• Document different client queries for product associates to build a central repository of information which can be accessed by internal partners on how to best use the product.

Associate, (TMT), Technology, Media & Telecommunications – Client Operations

The Location

Islamabad, Pakistan

Work Shift

Night shift US Eastern Time. However, you should be flexible to work on any other shift depending on business needs.

The Team

The TMT Client Operations team provides exceptional client support by showcasing vast knowledge about S&P Global Market Intelligence tools, our data, and the industry we cover. You will be a valuable member of a truly global team with presence in the US, Pakistan & Philippines. Members of the team learn in-depth TMT industry knowledge, produce webcast presentations, perform product testing, create custom models in Excel, participate in client outreach campaigns to drive usage, and write knowledgebase articles. You will also work with different teams inside the organization across many functional areas (Account Management, Product Management, Financial Modeling, Content & Industry Research, etc).

The Impact

As the face of the organization, we have a strong impact on our clients’ opinion of the quality of the company, driving product usage and revenue. As we are in direct contact with clients and understand their needs, we also could relay client feedback to the product managers, which is valuable in shaping future platform releases.
