Job summary

Cloudelligent in Lahore is seeking an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to test and validate our in-house SaaS and AI-enabled products built on AWS. You will perform manual testing, execute test plans, and document results with clear steps, while growing into our QA processes and AI-assisted testing workflows.

The role is suitable for someone early in their QA career with strong attention to detail, willingness to learn new technologies, and comfort working with a global, distributed team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related discipline.
• 2+ years of QA experience.
• Foundational frontend and backend testing concepts.
• Willingness to learn AI and cloud platforms.
• Basic AWS services knowledge; training will be provided.
• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
• Basic SQL for backend data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and JIRA.
• Understanding of SDLC and software testing fundamentals.
• Basic Python knowledge is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web-based and AI-driven applications.
• Execute test plans and test cases, including smoke, regression, functional, UAT, and deployment testing.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to support test case generation and QA documentation workflows.
• Run manual test scripts, capture results, and maintain accurate test documentation in JIRA.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce.
• Support test coverage across web applications and AI-related workflows.
• Help identify opportunities to improve QA processes, including AI tooling adoption.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and designs.
• Build familiarity with SaaS, AI, and cloud technologies through hands-on work.
