Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Pakistan to oversee receipt, storage and handling of raw and packaging materials. The role ensures documentation, labeling and regulatory compliance across warehousing operations.

The incumbent will coordinate with QA, Engineering and Production Planning, maintain temperature logs, and ensure records per SOPs. Experience in Pharm-D or MBA Supply Chain with 5-7 years is required.

Qualifications

• Pharm-D or MBA with Supply Chain; 5-7 years’ warehousing experience.
• Experience with QA, SOP compliance and documentation.
• Familiar with MRRs/GRN/MTN, labelling and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise raw & packaging materials receiving, storage, and handling.
• Ensure documentation and labeling per SOPs for materials acceptance.
• Prepare MRRs daily and post system records for released materials.
• Prepare GRN, MTN, and store delivery vouchers (gate passes).
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering and Production planning for warehousing operations.
• Maintain warehouse temperature records and update GXP data.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for supervising the receipt, storage, handling, and documentation of raw and packaging materials while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supervise all the raw & packaging materials receiving, storage, & handling activities.
• Keep constant check on received quantity & make sure that entire documentation & the labelling is done as per relevant SOPs of materials acceptance.
• Ensure the pasting of hazardous labels on the container of hazardous materials.
• Coordinate / arrange materials loans & returns with complete documentation.
• Preparation of MRRs of Raw & Packing materials on daily basis.
• System posting of all MRRs released & also the follow up of physical transfer of released raw materials from quarantine or released materials areas.
• Preparation of GRN through system / Manual.
• Preparation of Materials Transfer Note (MTN).
• Preparation of the Materials/Store Delivery Vouchers (gate passes e.g. MDV, SDV & Security).
• Follow up with purchase / Imports / Planning for documents related with the incoming raw & packing materials.
• Maintain the temperature record of warehouse and review & update GXP data pertaining to warehousing functions.
• Manage and supervise scheduled & special audits.
• Liaison with QA, Engineering and Production Planning and Production departments for smooth running of warehousing operations.
• Sectional Training, SOP & CAPA Coordinator.
• Author/Reviewer of SOPs pertaining to materials receiving function & ensure its compliance.
• The incumbent will be responsible to ensure and supervise all necessary records maintenance by concerned subordinates pertaining to their area of responsibility as per record retention policy & documentation practice.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Pharm-D / Preferably MBA (Supply Chain) 5-7 years’ experience in the same capacity
