Engro Enfrashare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager NOC (Network Operations Center) to join our Islamabad office at Job Grade T2. In this critical operational role, you will lead back-office NOC operations, oversee Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), and ensure exceptional service level agreement (SLA) compliance across our telecommunications infrastructure. You will drive automation initiatives, spearhead technical reconciliations, and coordinate closely with field teams, vendors, OEMs, and customers to maintain high availability and operational excellence. This position requires a seasoned telecommunications professional with a strong background in tower infrastructure management, data analytics, and cross-functional team leadership.
Detailed Job Description
As the Assistant Manager NOC, you will take full ownership of back-office network operations, performance reporting, and first-line maintenance (FLM) support across Engro Enfrashare’s expansive telecom tower footprint. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring SLA performance, driving operational efficiency, and managing RMS integration, administration, and telemetry reporting. You will analyze complex operational datasets using tools like Power BI, Python, SQL, and Tableau to generate actionable insights for management, while leading special projects and technical reconciliations. Furthermore, you will mentor and develop engineering talent through structured coaching and performance management, championing continuous process improvements and automation to optimize passive infrastructure and site monitoring workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NOC Back-Office operations, performance reporting, and FLM support to ensure maximum network uptime and reliability.
- Monitor SLA compliance, conduct technical reconciliations, and fulfill rigorous customer and operational requirements.
- Drive automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives across all network monitoring platforms.
- Manage RMS integration, administration, monitoring, and comprehensive performance reporting for passive infrastructure.
- Analyze operational data and prepare accurate reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead special projects and coordinate seamlessly with field teams, equipment vendors, OEMs, and external customers.
- Develop team capabilities through structured coaching, technical guidance, and proactive performance management.
- Ensure strict adherence to site monitoring protocols, alarm management, telemetry tracking, and remote site management guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience working in Telecom, Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), or Tower Company environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience in telecom tower operations, RMS platforms, site monitoring, alarm management, telemetry, and remote site management.
- Strong technical proficiency in Network Operations, Remote Monitoring Systems, Telecom Infrastructure, and Passive Equipment monitoring.
- Demonstrated skills in data analytics and project management, with familiarity in modern tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Strong organizational, people management, conflict management, and leadership & succession planning capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional vendor and stakeholder relationships.
