Zong 5G Islamabad seeks an Assistant Manager Financial Analysis to perform end-to-end pre-investment and comprehensive post-evaluation analyses, guiding investment planning and efficiency across multiple domains.

The role requires 4+ years' experience in financial modeling, ROI assessment, and stakeholder engagement, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and telecom domain awareness. MBA/Finance certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline or related field; MBA/Masters in Finance preferred.
• CFA, CMA, CPA or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong end-to-end financial analysis to evaluate investment benefits realization.
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support investment strategy formulation.
• Conduct end-to-end financial analysis for all investment projects including new and expansion projects.
• Evaluate ROI for existing and new business requirements and assist in budget planning.
• Analyze USF (Universal Service Fund) lots with stakeholders; coordinate pre-post analyses for COW sites.
• Perform post investment evaluations for projects in line with policies and processes.
• Continuously optimize ROI evaluation methods and maintain a centralized database of evaluations.
• Assist Line Manager to ensure timely task delivery and reporting; maintain trackers and documentation.
• Identify compliance risks and support audits and risk mitigation actions.

Job description

• The Assistant Manager Financial Analysis will perform end-to-end pre-investment financial analysis to assess whether anticipated investment benefits are achieved. The role will also conduct comprehensive post evaluation investment analysis to compare projected and actual outcomes, identify gaps, and provide insights to strengthen future investment planning and efficiency. The role will also provide comprehensive financial analysis for the investment strategy formulation covering both existing and new business requirements as well as strategic projects across multiple domains.

Job Responsibilities:

• Possess strong understanding and conduct comprehensive end-to-end financial analysis to evaluate whether the expected benefits of investments have been realized.
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support investment strategy formulation.
• Conduct end-to-end financial analysis for all investment projects, including new and expansion projects planned for the year, incorporating adjustments based on updated cost factors.
• Evaluate and support the financial analysis of the existing and new business requirements, including the assessment of ROI.
• Conduct financial evaluations and analyses of USF (Universal Service Fund) lots in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Provide support in conducting pre-post investment financial analysis of COW (Cell on Wheels) sites based on the requirements in coordination with stakeholders.
• Perform post investment project financial evaluations for all delivered projects in compliance with existing policies and processes.
• Continuously optimize the ROI evaluation process by researching and implementing innovative evaluation methodologies.
• Monitoring and maintaining a centralized database containing the pre-post financial evaluation results of all evaluated projects.
• Support the Line Manager in the efficient execution and timely delivery of tasks assigned by the management.
• Proactively carry out compliance risk identification and evaluation, timely report compliance risks, and take actions to prevention and control compliance risk.
• Ensure strict compliance of existing policies and processes and support the internal and external audit activities and management.
• Act as a liaison among for effective inter- and intra-departmental coordination proactively, ensuring timely documentation and efficient management of trackers and databases.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline or related field, MBA/Masters in Finance will be highly preferred.
• CFA, CMA, CPA or other relevant professional certifications will be preferred.

Work Experience:

• Preferably 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
