Job summary

Oxiliry (Private) Limited seeks an Assistant Legal Counsel to join its Legal Department in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore. The role supports the Director, International Legal Affairs in managing a broad portfolio across corporate, commercial, transactional, litigation, employment, and regulatory matters.

You will perform rigorous legal research, draft and negotiate contracts, review regulatory filings, and manage matters with a focus on practical risk mitigation and stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• LL.B. or equivalent recognized law degree.
• Approximately 3-4 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience with corporate, commercial, transactional, litigation, employment, regulatory matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle and support assigned corporate, commercial, transactional, litigation, employment, regulatory and other legal matters within delegated authority.
• Conduct thorough legal and regulatory research, identify risks, and prepare clear analyses and practical recommendations.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, regulatory filings, and other legal instruments.
• Coordinate litigation and dispute matters, including coordination with external counsel and maintaining case records.
• Identify legal, regulatory, contractual, and operational risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
• Provide timely, practical legal support to internal stakeholders within department workflows.
