Job summary

Translation Empire in Pakistan is seeking a junior .NET developer to assist in upgrading and maintaining existing .NET websites and applications, and to support the development of scalable software using MVC, .NET Core, and microservices. You will collaborate with teammates to analyze requirements, draft operating procedures, and deliver tasks on time.

The role requires basic front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JS), REST API work with ADO.NET/EF, and familiarity with Postman and Git.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed CS/SE degree.
• Familiar with at least one .NET language (C#, VB.NET).
• Understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with MVC, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
• Familiar with at least one modern JS framework (Vue/React/Angular).
• REST API development and database interaction using ADO.NET/EF.
• Familiar with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with Postman and Git; JIRA awareness is a plus.
• ASP.NET Web Forms knowledge is a plus.
• Twilio APIs knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in upgrading and maintaining existing .NET websites and applications.
• Support the development of scalable and efficient .NET software applications.
• Learn and contribute to development projects using .NET Core, MVC, and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze system requirements and break down tasks for development.
• Debug and review .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in drafting software and application operating procedures.
• Deliver assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
