Job summary

Translation Empire in Pakistan's Punjab region seeks a .NET developer to build web applications and APIs using .NET Framework/Core, C#, and SQL Server. You will design database structures, implement interfaces, and collaborate with QA to deliver robust software.

Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (and frameworks like Angular or Vue.js), REST APIs, Postman, and Git/TFS is expected. Office-based role, 10am–7pm, DHA 1 Sector F, Rawalpindi.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years .NET (MVC / Core) development experience.
• Knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, VB.NET).
• Hands on understanding of: Entity Framework / ADO.NET; OOAD; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, Axios; MS SQL;
• Practical knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular or Vue.js;
• Understanding of Git repositories (TFS or GitHub);
• Knowledge of JIRA;
• Knowledge of REST API development;
• Knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms;
• Postman usage for API testing;
• Twilio knowledge a plus;
• Degree in CS/IT.

Responsibilities

• Understand the present system and requirements;
• Develop web applications / APIs using .NET Framework and C#;
• Develop database functionality and communication structures for web apps / APIs;
• Deploy, implement and collaborate with QA;
• Improve functionality with updated technologies;
• Collaborate with frontend developers;
• Design and build application layers;
• Maintain and support applications; log changes daily.
