Job summary

Contour Software is seeking an AR and AP Analyst to join our Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead in the Calgary office and will support AR/AP activities, performing high-level data analysis and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, strong communication, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and a detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with process improvement and best practices in AR/AP.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past due invoices.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers to submit invoices, address inquiries, resolve disputes, and facilitate payments.
• Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports.
• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance.
• Process vendor payments on bank portals.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payments and status.
• Prepare and distribute regular accounts payable reports.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analyses.
