ARWEN TECH (PVT) LTD. is seeking an Application Monitor Developer to support enterprise applications, monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize dependencies using APM tools.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ASP.NET or Java, front-end JavaScript frameworks, SQL Server, and monitoring tools such as Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace, with experience in Telco or financial services considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in application development, support, and monitoring roles.
• Experience with enterprise applications in Telco, banking, or financial services is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with APM platforms such as Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support applications using ASP.NET or Java.
• Use JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Dojo, AngularJS) for front-end development.
• Implement and manage application monitoring with AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
• Monitor performance, availability, and dependencies across enterprise environments.
• Analyze RUM data and extract performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze application logs to resolve issues.
• Review and optimize SQL queries; ensure database performance.

Application Monitor Developer

We are seeking a skilled Application Monitoring Developer with strong application development, database, and Application Performance Management (APM) experience. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with ASP.NET or Java, front‑end JavaScript frameworks, SQL Server database management, and enterprise application monitoring tools such as Cisco AppDynamics (AppD) and Dynatrace. The candidate will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications, performing application monitoring, troubleshooting, log analysis, performance optimization, and ensuring smooth operation of applications and their dependencies.

Experience within the Telecommunications (Telco) sector or financial institutions is preferred, with a strong understanding of enterprise‑scale applications and critical business systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support custom applications using ASP.NET or Java.
• Utilize JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Dojo, AngularJS) for front-end development and application enhancements.
• Implement and manage application monitoring using APM tools such as Cisco AppDynamics (AppD) and Dynatrace.
• Monitor application performance, availability, user experience, and dependencies across enterprise environments.
• Analyze real user monitoring data and extract performance metrics to identify application bottlenecks.
• Perform application performance troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Conduct application log analysis to identify and resolve performance and operational issues.
• Review and optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance.
• Monitor SQL Server maintenance activities and troubleshoot failed processes.
• Provide support and maintenance for custom-built enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams to improve system reliability.
• Support proactive monitoring, alert management, and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and development experience in ASP.NET or Java.
• Practical experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, including Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
• Understanding of application monitoring concepts, performance metrics, dashboards, alerts, and dependency mapping.
• Experience supporting applications within Telco environments or financial institutions is preferred.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and frameworks like JQuery, Dojo, or AngularJS.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server databases, query optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
