The role focuses on assisting the Compliance Manager, maintaining regulatory awareness, and guiding business units to implement compliant solutions. Strong English communication and Excel skills are essential, with knowledge of Arabic as a plus.
Qualifications
- Graduate with banking experience in KYC/EDD.
- Experience reviewing KYC/EDD for HNI/UHNI and Business Entities.
- Must have strong command of English; Arabic is a plus.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations is advantageous.
- Good presentation skills and Excel proficiency are required.
- Efficient and logical approach to problem solving.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist Compliance Manager in day-to-day AML/KYC operations.
- Maintain awareness of regulations by the Central Bank of the UAE.
- Assist business units to address compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Support compliance initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Prepare and provide reports/MIS on compliance/AML issues.
- Respond to audit/assurance queries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Audit and Governance teams on compliance matters.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence.
