Position Overview
The Alumni Fundraising Associate supports the Office of Advancement in building and strengthening alumni engagement through fundraising initiatives. The role focuses on managing class funds, coordinating with alumni batches, ensuring timely donor stewardship, and contributing to the development of sustainable fundraising programs that align with LUMS’ mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the establishment, management, and growth of alumni class funds in collaboration with class representatives.
- Engage with alumni batches to encourage participation, particularly in cases of low activity or dormant funds.
- Ensuring timely acknowledgement and reporting to alumni donors.
- Coordinate with the Alumni Relations team to strengthen alumni connections with LUMS.
- Contribute to fundraising campaigns by providing operational, logistical, and communications support.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor contributions, and alumni engagement using data management systems.
- Prepare reports and updates to assess participation trends and fundraising progress.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Development Studies, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in fundraising, alumni relations, donor engagement, development, relationship management, communications, or a related field.
