Job summary

LUMS in Lahore seeks a Partnership Specialist to join the Advancement Office. You will support fundraising and strategic partnerships across the North region, identifying opportunities and cultivating relationships with donors and partners.

The role requires engaging with internal stakeholders to align institutional priorities with partner interests and translating connections into sustainable funding opportunities. Based in Lahore with North-region focus.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with corporations, foundations, institutions, and prospective donors across the North region.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities by understanding donor interests, CSR priorities, and areas of alignment with institutional needs.
• Represent the institution at networking and relationship-building opportunities to develop new partnerships.
• Develop compelling funding proposals and partnership opportunities with internal teams.
• Use fundraising data and trends to identify opportunities, support forecasting, and strengthen the fundraising pipeline.
• Maintain donor and funding information through Raiser’s Edge.
• Collaborate with academic departments to gather information for donor engagement and reporting.
• Create presentations and reports that communicate institutional priorities, impact, and partnership opportunities.

Job description

The Advancement Office is seeking a Partnership Specialist to join its Development team and support the growth of institutional fundraising and strategic partnerships across the North region. The role will focus on identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective donors and partners, and building a strong pipeline of funding opportunities. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand institutional priorities, align them with the interests of prospective partners, and translate these connections into sustainable funding and partnership opportunities.

The position will be based in Lahore and will support fundraising and partnership development across the North region.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with corporations, foundations, institutions, and prospective donors across the North region.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities by understanding donor interests, CSR priorities, and areas of alignment with institutional needs.
• Represent the institution at relevant networking and relationship-building opportunities to develop new partnerships.
• Work with internal teams to develop compelling funding proposals and partnership opportunities.
• Use fundraising data and trends to identify opportunities, support forecasting, and strengthen the fundraising pipeline.
• Maintain and manage accurate donor and funding information through Raiser’s Edge.
• Work with academic departments to understand institutional impact and gather relevant information for donor engagement and reporting.
• Develop presentations, reports, and other materials that communicate institutional priorities, impact, and opportunities for partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 03 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, or relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging with senior stakeholders (CXOs, Boards, HNIs).
• Experience in sectors such as banking, consulting, development, education, or corporate environments is preferred.
