Kassim is seeking an AI Researcher to advance machine learning and computer vision across denim workflows. The role is on-site in Landhi Town, Karachi, full-time, collaborating with product, design, and manufacturing teams to drive AI-enabled insights in design, production efficiency, and sustainability.
The ideal candidate has strong ML/AI research experience, data analysis skills, and proficiency in Python with TF/PyTorch.
Kassim is a denim-focused company that combines a strong corporate foundation with a deep passion for sustainable fashion. Since 1991, the organization has specialized in eco-responsive denim, aiming to serve responsible consumers who value both quality and ethical production. Kassim’s collections draw inspiration from everyday life rather than short-lived trends, emphasizing denim that ages beautifully and becomes a personal “second skin.” The company’s philosophy centers on treating all stakeholders with respect, embedding ethical principles into every stage of denim creation. Guided by a vision to produce luxurious, well-fitting jeans while protecting the planet and caring for its people, Kassim continues to innovate within the global denim industry.
The AI Researcher will work on-site in Landhi Town in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with product, design, and manufacturing teams to apply artificial intelligence to Kassim’s denim and fashion workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on machine learning models, computer vision techniques, and data-driven methods to optimize design, production efficiency, sustainability metrics, and quality control. The role involves building and evaluating prototypes, processing and analyzing large datasets from production lines and customer feedback, and translating research outcomes into practical tools and systems. The AI Researcher will document findings, publish internal reports, and help define best practices for AI use within the organization, while staying current with industry and academic advances in AI and related fields. This position also requires cross-functional communication to present insights and support ethical, transparent AI deployment aligned with Kassim’s values.
