Job summary

Brickstech is hiring a Product Engineer on a hybrid basis in Lahore with 3+ years of production software experience. You’ll own a full-stack product from client conversations to production, applying AI-native approaches and driving architecture across frontend, backend, data, and cloud.

The role emphasizes practical problem solving, client collaboration, and deep insurance domain understanding, with a focus on delivering iterative, high-quality software in a fast-paced Insurtech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production software, including a product or major feature you built from scratch.
• Proficient across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud; you adapt quickly to unfamiliar stacks.
• AI-native mindset: leverage AI agents, verify outputs, and apply judgment to code.

Responsibilities

• Build from zero: shape architecture across frontend, backend, data, and infra.
• Collaborate with clients: lead requirements, demos, and tradeoffs in plain language.
• Stay close to the product: challenge requirements and decide what to build now.
• Go deep on insurance: understand underwriting, pricing, and risk policy nuances.
• Build AI-first: apply AI across design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Ship, learn, repeat: put working versions in front of clients early and iterate.
