Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer for AI product development across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. The role combines hands-on coding with end-to-end ownership—from architecture and development to testing and deployment, in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of full-stack experience with Python/Flask and React/TypeScript, strong PostgreSQL skills, and familiarity with AI-assisted development and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with Python/Flask and React/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, automated testing, and TDD.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents / AI-assisted development.
• Strong problem-solving and product ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own features and product areas from scoping and technical specification to production delivery.
• Write technical plans/specifications before development and follow TDD and automated testing practices.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy 2.0, PostgreSQL, Alembic, Pydantic v2, Celery, and Redis.
• Build modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, and Tailwind CSS.
• Work with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and E2E testing.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code or similar tools in daily development.
• Review and validate AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.

About the Role
