Job summary

VIDIZMO, a USA-based technology company, seeks a skilled SQL Server database professional to design, develop, and maintain databases that support our AI-powered data platform. The role focuses on data integrity, performance, and secure backups while collaborating with engineering, QA, and DevOps.

You will validate AI-generated outputs, optimize queries, and manage ETL workflows, ensuring accurate, compliant results aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong command over T-SQL, including query writing, joins, indexing, and optimization.
• Basic understanding of database normalization, data modeling, and ER diagrams.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery, database security, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) or similar tools.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and exposure to data integration workflows is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support applications and reporting needs.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs
• Ownership of final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance
• Ability to critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements
• Accountability for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
• Support database backup, restore, and recovery processes.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Assist in data migration, ETL processes, and integration between systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data flow and reliability.
• Participate in database documentation and version control practices.
