VIDIZMO LLC in Karachi seeks a seasoned SQL Server Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain databases supporting business apps and reporting. You will review AI-generated outputs, own final deliverables, and optimize complex queries while ensuring security and performance.

Responsibilities include data migration, ETL collaboration, and working with cross-functional teams to guarantee reliable data flow. A strong background in T-SQL and data modeling is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on MS SQL Server experience.
• Strong command of T-SQL, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ER diagrams, and normalization.
• Experience with SSMS or similar tools.
• Nice to have ETL and data integration exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications and reporting needs.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs; ensure final deliverables meet requirements.
• Own final deliverables with or without AI assistance.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
• Support backup, restore, and recovery processes.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues; assist in data migration and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and DevOps for reliable data flow.
• Contribute to database documentation and version control practices.
