Job summary

Contour Software seeks an experienced AI DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure cloud-native infrastructure on AWS while integrating AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery and reliability. You will collaborate with Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Security, Data, and AI teams to build scalable platforms for modern apps and AI workloads.

The role focuses on IaC, CI/CD, AI-assisted automation, and robust observability, with a strong emphasis on security and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of AWS DevOps experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing containerized environments using ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Linux administration and cloud networking.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and AI-assisted software engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and DevSecOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available AWS cloud environments.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Administer and optimize AWS services including ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, AWS Organizations.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments across environments.
• Integrate AI-powered development and operational tools into workflows.
• Implement GitOps and deployment strategies like blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments.
• Develop AI-assisted solutions for automation, incident analysis, root cause identification, and log analysis.
