Dubizzle Labs in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking an Assistant Accountant - FinOps to support our Finance Operations team. The role will primarily handle Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including contract checks, invoicing, collections support, and AR reconciliations, while assisting with reconciliations and reporting.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance, and collaborate with the UAE finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• ACCA student/affiliate or strong finance/accounting degree from a reputed university.
• 1–1.5 years of accounting/finance operations experience, AR exposure preferred, Big 4 experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage preferred) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail; good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.

Responsabilités

• AR Core: Review customer contracts for accurate invoicing data.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, adjustments and credit notes per policy.
• Track outstanding receivables, follow up with customers and escalate overdue cases.
• Record customer payments and allocate in ERP (bank transfers, cheques, Adyen, Check Out).
• Support AR reconciliations; maintain AR aging and collection trackers.
• Bank reconciliations: assist monthly reconciliations of company bank accounts.
• General Ledger: post routine accounting entries and assist with reconciliations.
• Month-End Close: support AR closing activities, reconciliations and reporting.
• Reporting: prepare supporting schedules and reports for management and audits.
• Compliance & Process Improvement: ensure policy adherence and support audits; suggest process improvements.
