Job summary

Global Vision, an outsourcing company based in Karachi, is seeking an AR Accountant to manage accounts receivable activities, maintain reliable customer records, and help ensure healthy cash flow across assigned accounts.

The role involves invoicing, payment allocation, aging monitoring, discrepancy resolution, documentation, and support for month-end closing in a client-focused finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, payment allocation, and customer reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, receivables aging, credit notes, and collection procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliation workbooks.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems and maintaining organized digital records.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve billing queries, and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, time management, and follow-through on outstanding balances.
• Ability to manage confidential financial information and meet reporting deadlines in an outsourcing environment.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, statements, and account reconciliations.
• Record, allocate, and verify incoming payments in accounting systems.
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and support collection activities professionally.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve account queries.
• Perform regular customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, receivables reporting, and audit-related requests.
• Follow established controls, client requirements, and data confidentiality standards.
