Job summary

Zameen.com is looking for an Accounts Associate to join our finance team in Lahore. You’ll handle invoicing, receipt posting, reconciliations and reporting, collaborating with senior staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Raise invoices and post receipts, especially at month end.
• Prepare aging reports and flag overdue accounts.
• Reconcile sub-ledger balances with general ledger and resolve differences.
• Track inter-company and sundry customer invoices daily.
• Support data gathering for weekly billing and management reports.
• Assist with IFRS 9 ECL workings under guidance.
• Follow up with customers on unpaid invoices and maintain records.
• Take on additional reporting and finance tasks as needed.

Zameen.com is hiring an Accounts Associate to join our finance team. You’ll handle the everyday accounting work that keeps our books accurate and on time, including invoicing, receipt posting, reconciliations and reporting. You’ll work closely with senior members of the finance team and learn a lot along the way.

What You’ll Do

• Raise customer invoices and post receipts, especially around month end.
• Help prepare aging reports and point out accounts that are overdue.
• Reconcile sub-ledger balances with the general ledger and sort out any differences.
• Track the daily status of inter-company and sundry customer invoices.
• Pull together the data for our weekly billing PowerPoint and other management reports.
• Assist with ECL workings under IFRS 9 at month end, with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Follow up with customers on unpaid invoices and keep clean records of those conversations.
• Pick up other reporting and finance tasks when the team needs a hand.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Part-qualified ACCA is a plus.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable. Internships count.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Some experience with Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP is nice to have, but not required.
• A sharp eye for detail and the habit of checking your own work before anyone else has to.
• Good communication skills. You can follow up on a payment politely without making it awkward.
