Job summary

Savvital is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, ensure financial accuracy, and perform reconciliations using QuickBooks.

You will handle Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, vendor bills, expense reports, and support ad-hoc financial requests. A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience and independent work capability are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
• Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliation, and AP/AR processes.
• Autonomy with high accuracy and strong organizational skills.
• Clear and professional communication for client follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and pull data from third-party platforms for balanced books.

About The Role

The client is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial accuracy, and ensure smooth account reconciliation. We are looking for an experienced professional who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision and possesses deep expertise in accounting workflows and QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping Operations:

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately within QuickBooks.
• Perform routine bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and pull required transactional data from third-party platforms to ensure balanced books.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) workflows, including processing bills and entering them into the accounting system.
• Review employee expense reports, verify supporting documentation, and follow up with clients/team members for missing receipts.

Accounts Receivable & Ad-Hoc Support

• Follow up directly with clients and customers regarding past-due bills and outstanding invoices.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial requests, reporting, and general administrative task execution as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or Staff Accountant).
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
• Core Skills: Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliation, and AP/AR processes.
• Autonomy & Attention to Detail: High accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute tasks independently without requiring foundational training.
• Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills for client follow-ups and coordination.
