Job description

About Us

We are a fast-growing Los Angeles-based accounting and advisory firm that does things differently. Our clients expect precision, responsiveness, and practical solutions - not theory, unnecessary meetings, or endless bureaucracy. Internally, we operate the same way: clarity over noise, systems over chaos, and accountability over politics.

Traditional accounting firms burn people out with long hours, mindless busywork, and a lack of meaningful responsibility. That's not how we work. You won't fill out timesheets just to prove you exist, sit in endless meetings that accomplish nothing, or get buried under mountains of meaningless paperwork.

Instead, we focus on practical accounting work, client impact, and career growth - giving you meaningful responsibility from day one, exposure to interesting businesses, and the chance to develop the skills that will make you a future leader.

As we grow, we are looking for an Associate Accountant to join our team. We’re looking for people who want to develop their accounting career quickly while taking on meaningful client work, problem-solving, and real responsibility.

This role offers the opportunity to learn directly from experienced accountants and managers, work on diverse client engagements, and grow into senior roles. You will start with a solid mixture of hands-on accounting tasks including preparing workpapers, supporting client deliverables, and collaborating with senior team members on complex accounting matters.

We are looking for candidates who are curious, detail-oriented, proactive, and excited about developing into future accounting leaders. If you enjoy working in a structured, high-performance environment and want a clear path to growth, this role is a great fit.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Review financial statements, workpapers, and leadsheets for accuracy and clarity
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to solve client issues and optimize processes
  • Support team leads in developing and maintaining internal processes, documentation, and performance standards
  • Perform core accounting tasks including reconciliations, bookkeeping, and transaction processing across systems like QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite
  • Assist with client communications and deliverables
Who You Are

You are an ambitious, high-performing early-career accountant who is eager to grow. You enjoy learning, are comfortable asking questions, and take pride in delivering work with accuracy and clarity. Why you’re a good fit:
