The ideal candidate is ACCA or CA Finalist with 2–4 years of UK bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and good written and spoken English. You will work in an international firm offering growth opportunities and exposure to UK accounting practices.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CA Finalist with 2–4 years of relevant experience (UK bookkeeping preferred).
• Hands-on experience with financial statement preparation and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for UK clients.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle payroll calculations and monthly payroll processing.
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Assist in management reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare VAT returns in line with UK regulations.
• Support month-end/year-end processes and liaise with senior accountants.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

Working Hours: UK Business Hours (1:00 PM - 9:00 PM PKT, subject to DST)

About The Role

We are hiring a capable Accountant / Bookkeeper for our Lahore office to support UK-based clients. The role requires someone who can independently manage bookkeeping through to draft financial statements, including handling payroll and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for UK clients
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle commission calculations, accruals, and adjustments
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
• Assist in management reporting and variance analysis
• Prepare VAT returns in line with UK regulations
• Process monthly payroll
• Support month-end / year-end processes and liaise with senior accountants
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, within the scope of the role

Requirements

• ACCA / CA Finalist
• 2-4 years of relevant experience (UK bookkeeping experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience with financial statement preparation
• Good understanding of UK VAT and basic compliance requirements
• Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, formulas, data handling)
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
