ACCA Careers seeks an ACCA trainee for its Lahore office to support UK-based clients with bookkeeping, VAT, and accounts preparation. You will gain practical experience under mentoring from UK-qualified accountants while progressing through ACCA qualification.

The role offers training, exposure to UK tax and accounting, and long-term career development within a growing UK accountancy firm in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Currently studying ACCA and committed to completing the qualification.
• Experience in accounting is desirable but not essential.
• Good written and spoken English; strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Based in Lahore and able to work from our Lahore office.
• Familiar with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or Capium.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accounting records and performing bookkeeping duties.
• Preparing and assisting with UK VAT returns.
• Assisting with statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with Companies House accounts and other filings.
• Assisting with Corporation Tax returns and computations.
• Assisting with Self-Assessment tax returns.
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting senior accountants with client accounting and tax work.
• Communicating with clients and obtaining information where required.
• Keeping accounting records accurate, complete and up to date.
• Carrying out general accounting, administrative and ad-hoc duties as required.
• Developing knowledge of UK accounting and tax legislation.

ACCA Trainee Accountant – Lahore Office

We are an ACCA-approved employer providing offshore accounting and tax support to UK-based clients. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious ACCA Trainee Accountant to join our Lahore office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA student to begin and develop their professional career within a UK accountancy environment. The successful candidate will receive structured training, practical experience and mentoring while working on real UK client assignments.

About The Role

As an ACCA Trainee Accountant, you will work alongside experienced accountants and support the delivery of accounting and tax compliance services to UK-based clients.

You will gain practical experience across UK bookkeeping, VAT, accounts preparation, Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment and Companies House compliance, while developing your technical knowledge and understanding of UK accounting and taxation.

The role offers excellent long-term career progression for someone who is committed to completing their ACCA qualification and building a career in UK accountancy.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently studying ACCA and committed to completing the qualification
• Suitable for an early-career candidate; previous accounting experience is desirable but not essential
• A genuine interest in UK accounting and taxation
• Good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organised and methodical approach to work
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High standards of integrity, honesty and professionalism

Working Hours – Pakistan Time

April to September: 1:00 PM – 9:0 PM

October to March: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
