Job summary

Edge is hiring a Senior Accountant to own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities, serving as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders. This position offers full-time remote work with client-driven schedules across PST/MST/EST/CST time zones.

You will work with international clients, handle month-end close, prepare statements under IFRS/US GAAP, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• ACCA or CA finalist.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Review work of junior accountants and mentor them.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

As a Accountant, you will own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities or clients, ensuring compliance while serving as a trusted financial partner to internal and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (schedule based on client requirements - Schedule can be in PST/MST/EST/CST)

• Experience preparing month-end financial reports.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
