Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or local equivalent).
• Strong technical skills in accounting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well in a team.
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on-site in Karachi, Pakistan. You’ll handle the full accounting cycle for a mix of individual and business clients, from day-to-day bookkeeping to financial reporting and analysis. You’ll work closely with our team to deliver timely, high-quality work and communicate clearly with clients.

What You’ll Do

Bookkeeping and Core Accounting

• Record and categorize transactions accurately
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Maintain the general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Draft financial statement footnotes and disclosures
• Perform consolidations and intercompany eliminations
• Build management reports and dashboards
• Analyze budget vs. actual variances and explain the drivers
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and analysis
• Analyze and normalize financial statements
• Support quality of earnings (QoE) assessments
• Perform working capital and net debt analysis

Client Service

• Respond to client questions with clear, professional guidance
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or local equivalent)
• Strong technical skills in accounting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
