Job summary

Evernex is seeking a finance professional to secure right controls and support accounting functions across MEA. You will handle client invoicing and collections, supplier payments, and monthly employee expenses, contributing to timely financial closes.

Reporting to Finance Manager MEA, you will drive policy adherence during close, perform reconciliations, liaise with external consultants, and ensure accurate finance reports in the group systems.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Business Administration/Accounting.
• 3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with VAT, annual tax returns, withholding.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Zoho accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Supplier bookkeeping and payment (Accounts Payable).
• Monthly processing of Employee expenses.
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Intercompany reconciliation.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager MEA, this position will also offer the right candidate the opportunity to have an impact on all aspects of our Accounting function.

How will you make an impact?

You are responsible for, but not limited to:

• Primary responsibilities includes: Client invoicing and collection (Accounts Receivable), Supplier bookkeeping and payment (Accounts Payable), Monthly processing of Employee expenses, Bank Reconciliation, Intercompany reconciliation, Monthly financial closing report.
• Responsible for full accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all finance and accounting tasks for the assigned entities.
• Drive consistent and effective policies and procedures during monthly close process including account reconciliations, bookkeeping, accruals, and year-end financial audit.
• Liase with external consultant on timely manner.
• Ensure financial reports to the Finance Manager MEA in the reporting system.

What makes you a great fit

• BS or higher in Business Administration/Accounting.
• 3 years relevant experience in corporate accounting/finance.
• Previous experience in tax filing (ie. VAT, Annual tax return, Withholding).
• Detailed knowledge of accounting and other relevant reporting standards.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Knowledge in Quickbooks and Zoho accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and able to think analytically.
