Job summary

CowCulate is seeking an Accounts Manager to oversee the complete financial function, from import trade finance to executive reporting. The role requires strong technical grounding, process ownership, and building scalable financial systems for a fast-growing startup.

You will supervise invoicing, credit control, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across distributor and direct-account channels while ensuring compliance with SECP, FBR, and SBP regulations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in import, trading or FMCG sectors.
• Experience supervising full finance function including import trade finance and reporting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Tally ERP is required; SAP/Oracle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for international procurement, including supplier invoices and TT/LC payments.
• Maintain landed cost worksheets and analyze variances vs. budgeted costs.
• Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders and clearing agents on GD filing and duty settlement.

Job description

The Accounts Manager will supervise the CowCulate’s full financial function - from import trade finance and distribution accounting to executive reporting. The role demands strong technical grounding, process ownership, and the ability to build scalable financial systems within a fast-growing startup.

• Manage accounting for international procurement: supplier invoices, TT/LC payments, customs duty, freight, and port clearing charges
• Maintain landed cost worksheets per shipment and analyze variances against budgeted costs
• Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, and clearing agents on GD filing and duty settlement
• Supervise invoicing, debtor ledger, and credit control across distributor and direct-account channels
• Enforce credit limit policies, payment terms, and overdue escalation protocols
• Review credit notes, returns, and distributor reconciliation statements
• Maintain daily bank position and rolling cash flow forecast
• Plan international TT payments aligned with supplier milestones
• Oversee banking relationships and petty cash controls for field operations
• File Sales Tax returns, withholding tax statements, and income tax via FBR IRIS
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for all import and domestic transactions
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual statutory requirements
• Ensure compliance with SECP, FBR, and SBP regulations applicable to import trade
• Deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to management
• Produce shipment-wise profitability, SKU-level margin reports, and budget-vs-actual variance analysis
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning

Education M.Com / MBA Finance / ACCA / ICMA

Experience 5-8 years in import, trading, or FMCG sector
