Source Code is seeking an experienced Head of Arabic Department to lead our Arabic language program, ensuring high teaching standards, curriculum development, and student achievement in a remote setup.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, deep knowledge of Arabic literature, and experience managing an academic department, with a track record of improving outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Arabic, Arabic Literature or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Arabic, preferably with leadership or departmental management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar, literature, language instruction, and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Arabic Department and teaching team.
• Develop, review, and implement Arabic curriculum in line with academic standards.
• Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessments, and student progress.
• Mentor, support, and evaluate Arabic teachers.
• Develop effective teaching strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Coordinate examinations, assessments, and departmental activities.
• Maintain accurate academic records and departmental documentation.
• Organize Arabic language and cultural activities for students.
• Collaborate with school leadership and other departments.
• Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders when required.
• Ensure the department follows school policies, procedures, and educational standards.
