Job summary

Game District is seeking a 2D Game Developer - Unity to join our Lahore studio. You will design, implement, and maintain high-quality 2D mobile games using Unity and C#, focusing on smooth gameplay, responsive UI, and robust performance across devices.

You will work with designers, artists, QA, and fellow developers, review code, optimize memory and loading times, and stay current with Unity features and mobile gaming trends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Unity game development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and OOP.
• Hands-on Unity Engine experience and core systems.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience developing and shipping mobile games.
• Strong knowledge of gameplay programming, physics, UI, and optimization.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality 2D games using Unity and C#.

About the Role

Game District is looking for a 2DGame Developer - Unity to join one of our game development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Unity and C#, a solid understanding of game development fundamentals, and the ability to build, optimize, and maintain high-quality 2D mobile games.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality 2Dgames using Unity and C#.
• Develop gameplay systems, mechanics, UI, animations, physics, and other game features.
• Write clean, scalable, optimized, and maintainable code.
