Job summary

MMBL Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited is hiring a DLH-Support Engineer to monitor and resolve issues in Data Lakehouse pipelines built on Iceberg/MinIO with Trino, Airflow, Grafana, and OpenMetadata. The role requires night/shift work in a 24/7 environment and strong incident-management skills.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in platform engineering, solid SQL and Unix/Linux abilities, and experience with data validation, log analysis, and shell scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Platform Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in Managed Services or operational roles is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Unix/Linux skills; familiarity with data lakehouse concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across DLH pipelines.
• Identify and report pipeline failures, delays, and discrepancies.
• Perform basic data validation using predefined SQL queries.
• Navigate Unix/Linux file systems and inspect log files.
• Troubleshoot upstream and downstream pipeline failures; RCA documentation.
