Job summary

LUMS is seeking a network and surveillance systems specialist to configure, troubleshoot, and support campus network and security systems. You will handle Cisco routers, switches, and wireless Infrastructure, plus CCTV and access control platforms across the campus.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT within large organisations, with experience in network security, surveillance, and database administration. The role offers growth within a dynamic university environment in Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an HEС-recognised university.
• 3+ years IT experience in a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and multilayer switches.
• Assist with configuring firewall, IPS, DMZ, and IPSec.
• 24/7 monitoring of campus network and surveillance services; escalate issues.
• Configure CISCO wireless LAN infrastructure and security; work with stakeholders to resolve problems.
• Administration of access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.
