Job summary

Shane Hummus is seeking an A+ retention video editor to join a fast-growing content creation team. You will edit engaging talking head videos and help shape the channel’s storytelling with a focus on high-quality output.

Collaborate with a small team, organize assets and timelines, and deliver 1–2 long-form videos per week that align with our brand. Remote work is supported, and familiarity with creators like Iman Gadzhi or Hormozi is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience editing engaging long-form (talking head) YouTube videos.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

We're on the hunt for video editors who can edit engaging talking head videos for Shane’s associates (Other content creators, with growing YT channel). This isn’t just any regular company, and this is not your average 9-to-5 job. This position will give you the opportunity to join a successful, fast-growing company in the content creation space.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit and produce 1-2 top-quality (talking head) long-form, landscape videos per week that meet our client's standards.
• Collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals to develop and implement ideas for video projects.
• Ensure that all video content aligns with our brand's tone, style, and messaging.
• Create and maintain an organized system for video files and project timelines.
• Work closely with the content team to ensure the timely delivery of finished videos.

You're a great fit if you have:

• (REQUIRED) Previous experience editing engaging long-form (talking head) YouTube videos.
• Expertise in video editing software including but not limited to: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or any similar software that can produce top-level quality videos (average length: 15 minutes).
• A strong portfolio that showcases your video editing skills and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Knowledge of similar brands is a plus (Iman Gadzhi, Ali Abdaal, Hamza).
• Likes memes and pop culture.
